What Are Meshworks?

Meshworks are a method of analysis, rather than a defined physical network.

They are the flows and intersections of substance within a system.
The substance can be anything: material, energy, thought or people.

The concept is similar to the 'body-without-organs' proposed by Deleuze and Guatarri: To simplify, the connections, intersections of influence and relationships within a defined body are as important to our understanding as the individual organs within it.

What if we analysed a system, not by its components, but by its connections and intersections?1
